It is also frequently recognized and referenced in many leading environmental, real estate, and social media industry publications.
commonground allows its nearly 7,000 members to ask questions, discuss trends, give advice and share opinions. It has amassed more than 23,000 discussion posts and comments. It also hosts 35 expert-authored bloggers who have published over 1,800 blog posts to keep members up-to-date on the most pertinent issues impacting the industry and changes to evolving regulations.

Within commonground University (cgU), environmental and property professionals can attend the only peer developed, online training courses The flexible online format has made this critical training more accessible to emerging and experienced professionals. To date, cgU has graduated more than 750 professionals since it launched in 2009. cgU is also the exclusive partner of ASTM International, the world renowned standards organization, for its popular ASTM E1527 Phase I ESA course online.
Recently, community members acknowledged a need for stronger mentors to help bring budding environmental professionals up the learning curve. commonground responded and created a private, nurturing environment where the best mentors in the industry offer their experience to all commonground members, not just those at their companies.
commonground believes in the value of community. For that reason 2% of revenue of all commonground products and services is donated to classrooms in communities impacted by environmental issues or high-need schools looking to grow their environmental or science curriculum through a partnership with Donors Choose.
The collective impact of all these great initiatives include a 165% YOY growth in community revenues, 4x growth in daily visits, and over 1.1 million page views during this past year. A recent member survey indicated that 99.8% find value in the content on commonground.
